This January, the BioBam team had the pleasure of attending the Plant and Animal Genome Conference in San Diego, California. This international event is a MUST for everyone working in the Plant and Animal Genomics space. For us, coming back to PAG after the Covid break was a great opportunity to get re-connected to the community and catch up with the latest research advances.
Overall, and the bad weather apart, we had a fantastic time at the conference. We enjoyed every aspect, including scientific talks, poster sessions as well engaging with existing and new customers at our booth. In the end, nothing beats an in-person conversation, direct feedback, or exchanging ideas about novel applications or developments in the field, and we were delighted to meet and interact with colleagues from all over the world. And – the BioBam socks were a real highlight 😉.
We also announced the winners of our raffle of various free full-access licenses of OmicsBox on our LinkedIn page last week. Hopefully, OmicsBox already helps to ease and speed up the data analysis efforts of the lucky winners.
With all this great experience we now dream of visiting the next PAG in Australia. In any case, we will definitely be back next year in San Diego supporting the plant and animal community in its pursuit of knowledge and discovery. Looking forward!
See you at PAG24!
